I enjoy sharing my before and after images because the difference is always super fun to look at! So the image on the left is the raw render (Poser Pro 2014, rendered in Octane) and the image on the right is the finished product from painting and crying in Photoshop.

Here's the finished image by itself :D and a close-up of her face cause the full view doesn't quite show the fancypants detail.

Think of what it must take the poor thing to wash all that hair

Does an Octane render allow you to save your render as a transparent background .PNG, or do you have to remove that blue background as part of the process?

Haha it is so much hair! And I should have been more specific: I have the Octane plugin for Poser, but yes, you can choose a PNG file (but you have to set it up to render with a transparent background ahead of time). In this image (and all my images), I keep the background and paint over it. I find that a transparent PNG leaves little artifacts and imperfections no matter how hard I might try to clean it up in Photoshop, especially when it comes to things being affected by depth of field / blur.

Thank you!! I appreciate it! I rarely post detail shots but this one definitely deserved it.

Very impressive. I looked at them for quite a while.
It definitely makes it more entertaining to see the before and after.
I bought my friend an elephant for his room. He said, "Thanks." I said, "Don't mention it."
