BUT

If it works, don't delete it. It is in fact, a trick shot. So we can just let it be.

The original entry went all the way through to "Your entry has been uploaded".

Entry gone missing.

I put in an entry for the "Things that are not here any more" last evening (about 1800 Dagger Bay time, five hours and change before the deadline). It is just gone. Nowhere to be found or seen. Don't get me wrong, this was not a winning shot. Just competent. But I think someone should have...

I'll give it a go. Although we only have two seasons (snowbird season and no snowbird season) -- so I am severely handicapped in that department.

pietopper, wow I've never seen that. All the wild orchids here grow in the ground and the ones in offices are always potted. Thanks for the info! I oversimplified things a little. Yes, they do have sticky bases and they come off and stick to your legs. Not sure if that is part of their seed distribution strategy.

LetItBeFun: That is the female dove. With doves and pigeons (and elephants, and maybe others) if you get the impression of the head that it is small, delicate, dainty, then it is the female. 100% accurate.
