Parade Balloon
 Nov 14, 2016

As a child nothing was more exciting than seeing the Macy’s Day Parade on Thanksgiving. The giant balloons were always tremendously exciting for young and old alike.

Design a new balloon. It doesn’t have to be in the parade or have people attached to it. The idea is to make it look real and inventive. It cannot be an existing commercial success. No Disney. No Marvel. No Hanna Barbera. A totally new creature that would march down the streets of New York or anywhere with all the excitement. The environment is up to you, but it must look real and not CGI.
This is a photo effects realism contest only. No illustration material will be permitted, (the only exception being the creation of shadows). Use as many photos as you want to use in your creation, but no drawing or painting or 3D modeling is allowed.

Special thanks to Tim "Hitspinner" Dowling for providing the photo realistic themepost image.
